Adaptive Architecture Project
Goal
Development of a conceptual design of a residential building using the principles of adaptive architecture that will allow the owner of a residential building to increase or decrease the living area, its number of storeys, if necessary, move the building to another land plot or replace its purpose from residential to commercial or public.

At the end of the project, the student will receive:
— Basic knowledge of project activities.
— Experience in implementing and testing various solutions.
— Experience working on Revit architecture, 3ds Max and Lumion.
— Design principles taking into account current trends in adaptive architecture.
Necessary knowledge and skills of students:
— Interest in the field of architecture and interior design.
— Ability to work in a team.
Project "Reverse engineering"
Goals
  • Improving the design of the bio-toilet in order to exclude the possibility of using a plastic bag or other analogues that contribute to the formation of a new type of non-recyclable garbage in small settlements during the operation of the bio-toilet.
  • Optimization of the design of a household wall-mounted gas boiler in order to reduce its cost compared to analogues, as well as simplify its technological scheme to increase maintainability in small settlements.

— Experience working at Inventor, working with a 3D scanner.
— Experience in making 3D models of complex equipment.
— Experience in drawing up technical documentation for the subsequent production of a trial batch of equipment.
Necessary knowledge and skills of students:
— Interest in 3D modeling.
— Ability to work in a team.
Smart Home Project
Goal
Testing of various Smart Home systems in order to increase the comfort of living in a residential building, consideration of options for optimizing Smart Home systems.

— Experience in the application and installation of the Smart Home system.
Necessary knowledge and skills of students:
— Interest in the field of automation and telemetry of various processes in a residential building.
— Ability to work in a team.
Ivan Gavriliev
Team Leader
Ivan supervised the projects "Mosquitoes and midges extermination", "Roads of Yakutsk city", "Outdoor toilets", "Construction of a dome in Oktemtsy village", "Waste recycling".

He held senior positions in companies in the oil and gas sector of the Sakha Republic, supervised the construction of an underwater crossing of the main gas pipeline through the Lena River, gasified the city of Lensk, supervised investment projects of PJSC YATEK, founded LLC Yakut Gas Company and LLC Smartcom, which carries out activities for the development and implementation of the Smart Home system in gas equipment of private residential buildings.

Ivan is fond of American football, running and snowboarding.
