Films "Scarecrow" and "Black Snow" to be released on online platforms

Stepan Burnashev's film will make its digital debut on March 18. The film "Scarecrow" by Dmitry Davydov will be available to watch from March 25.

"Black Snow" tells about a trucker who delivers goods to remote corners of Yakutia. Along with food and basic necessities, he brings unlicensed vodka to the locals, profiting from getting people drunk with low-quality alcohol. On his next flight, the driver exchanges vodka for meat at an unfair but profitable rate for himself and decides to return to the city alone. His truck breaks down, and in the bitter cold he is left alone with an endless snow-white plain, where not a single living soul can be found for hundreds of kilometers around…

The film "Black Snow" based on real events, is the winner of the main award at Window to Europe Film Festival and the awardee of the Producers Guild of Russia. It was released in a limited box office in Russia.


The mystical drama "Scarecrow", which received the main prize of Kinotavr, is now in wide distribution throughout Russia. The company Pro:vzglyad is engaged in the film distribution.


"Scarecrow" tells the story of a village fool who heals people at the cost of her own vitality. Although the villagers shun the healer, at night they come to her with requests to help get rid of various diseases. The woman knows that the healing gift will one day cause her death, but she continues to do good deeds.
