We should recall that the half marathon has been postponed twice: in 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic and in August this year due to heavy smog in Yakutsk. Now the event will be held without an audience.
The grand opening of the competition will take place at 7.30 am. The start of the half marathon at a distance of 21.1 km, 10.5 km and 5 km will be given at 8 o'clock in the morning.
According to the information of the Department of Rospotrebnadzor in Yakutia, athletes who have completed a full course of vaccination, or who have the result of tests for coronavirus infection by PCR, received no earlier than three calendar days before the start of the competition, will be allowed to participate in the half marathon.
"Catering will be organized on the territory of the championship. An "entrance filter" with mandatory thermometry using contactless thermometers will work among athletes in order to timely identify and isolate people with signs of respiratory diseases and fever. Special places will also be organized for wiping hands with disinfectants," the message says.
It is noted that all participants of the half marathon must comply with the rules of sanitary safety, wear masks, gloves, and also maintain social distance.
According to the organizers of the event, until September 9, participants can arrange a transfer (transferring their application to another person), and those who wish to redeem the remaining slots on the website. The issuance of the starting numbers will take place on September 10 and 11 from 13 o'clock in the afternoon on the stage of the City Park of Culture and Leisure of Yakutsk.
