Yakutsk half-marathon
The Yakutsk half marathon, which was supposed to take place on the night of August 14-15, was canceled due to thick smog from forest fires.

According to the order of the Ministry of Sports of the Republic, all sports events are cancelled in Yakutia until the regional emergency regime is on due to forest fires.

"This year 908 participants have registered. The information about the procedure and timing of the event will be published later," the organizers noted.

We should recall that the fifth anniversary half marathon had been postponed since last year due to the spread of coronavirus infection. The Yakutsk Half Marathon has been held since 2016 and attracts more and more people every year.
